We are all messy people, and we all have stuff that we are embarrassed for others to find out about us. Our lives can look like a hot mess instead of holiness. But, if we get real we realize God already knows it all anyway!
By looking at the messy life of Jacob, we can be certain that God can and will use a liar, a thief, and a manipulator in mighty ways. God kept His promise to Jacob. God will keep His promise to us. God is a promise keeper.
