128: Some People Won’t Share Your Excitement
Maybe your conversation to Christ was powerful and emotional, or maybe you have renewed that faith recently and a spark has been lit. And you are just pumped up about it. So, you share your excitement with just about everybody. And, that’s the way it ought to be. When you experience something life-changing, you naturally want to share it with others. But, one of the things we wish we would’ve known when we first started following Jesus is that most people won’t share that same excitement. Instead of letting this discourage you from being evangelistic or even enthusiastic, maybe there is a better way. Pastor Adam puts Stephanie on the hot seat and asks her to explain the reason someone might not be as excited as we are. This will help you stay encouraged but also have empathy for other people. And, empathy always makes you more like Christ.
