We love Christmas movies for a reason. We know that all is going to be made right. Kevin will be reunited with his parents. Clark will get the lights working, and Ralphie will get the Red Ryder BB gun. But Christmas is not that Jesus has come to make our circumstances right. Christmas is a rescue mission. Rescue is what is actually happening in that humble manger trough.
