118: You Can Think Like Jesus Thinks: I Want to do God’s Will Not Mine
Just a couple more episodes left in this series, Pastor Adam and Pastor Matt keep processing how we can think like Jesus thinks. Jesus’ mindset is fixed on wanting to do God’s will instead of His own. That mindset is so counter-cultural. The culture around us says we do what we want and desire. The culture around us says we do what makes us happy. But, that is not Jesus. As Christ-followers, we can lay down our desire to do our own will, and instead walk moment by moment submitting to the will of the Father just like Jesus. Doing the will of God when it hurts or is painful is only possible with the mind of Christ. Thankfully, in Christ, we have the actual, supernatural mind of Christ.
